Welcome to my website on Structural Integration.

Chris perri

Are you tired of that chronic back or neck pain? Would you like to move better and feel stronger? Would you like to have a pain free and fluid body?

Structural Integration is a form of hands on soft tissue bodywork and movement education that improves your body’s ability to move freely. Think of taking your car in for a “tune up”. Structural Integration is just that for your body!

As we engage in repetitive physical activity, injure ourself, recover from surgery, or as a sign of ageing, we can lose range of motion, flexibility and as a result, our bodies become stressed. A poorly balanced posture requires more energy to stay upright, causing other areas to carry more stress, tension and wear out more quickly which can be identified as pain. This can be reversed with simple a process of releasing and lengthening of the soft tissue [fascia] to allow your body to move with grace, fluidity and ease.

Structural Integration effectively relieves chronic pain in the body and helps in recovery after surgical procedures and prevents sports-related injuries. I have been specialising in chronic pain and injury rehabilitation for 10 years.

‘After a car accident 2 years ago, I had to have surgery on my shoulder to repair a rotator cuff tear. Raising it above my head was near impossible and it was a painful process. I had seen many physiotherapists for 1.5 years to which none had helped.
After one session of Rolfing I could raise my arm above my shoulder and with consequent sessions, I now have full range of motion back and my shoulder and it is pain free’.

Great work Chris and thank you very very much. Kate Whitten
